It began in 1918, when Robert Louis Lamastus founded Elida Estate on the slopes of the Barú Volcano. Amado Boutet established the family’s roots in Boquete in 1925, and in 2014, Luito Lamastus planted a new generation of Gesha.

Today, the Lamastus family farms five estates: Elida, El Burro, Luito Gesha, Cliff Gesha and Trompo Gesha, across four distinct microclimates in the Boquete highlands, at elevations reaching up to 2,200 meters above sea level.

Each estate possesses its own microclimate, microorganisms and terroir.
